About what I was good at, what I actually wanted to do with it, and where I could have the most impact. The answer kept coming back to the same thing — engineers just starting out, standing where I stood a few years ago, capable and qualified and completely in the dark about what comes next.

Nobody taught us that part. You just land in industry and hope you pick it up fast enough.
